In an era of big data, the opportunity to leverage real world data for patient benefit is here. In the world of cancer care, we see tremendous complexity in the increasing number of available treatment options and the permutations and combinations in which they are utilised in practice.
Applying new and novel techniques to mine the treasure trove of real world data is essential in understanding the population health economic impact of treatment options, choices and outcomes. Enabling powerful cost and benefit analysis, such techniques allow value to be understood and strengthen real world decision making to deliver real world patient benefit.
This is the work of PRIMCAT.
